At the moment of writing (July 7th, 2021), there seems to be an issue with the Elder Scrolls Online Forums. When loading the url https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/, the page only loads the background image. On the Forums, ZOS has confirmed that they are looking into the issue, which seems to be related to a JavaScript error on their side. Ironically, the temporary fix for this problem is shared on the Forums. However, since you cannot get access to the Forums on your desktop, you are unable to find this solution. Hence I made this blog post on how to solve this Forums problem (for Mozilla Firefox).
First of all, this is a Mozilla Firefox browser fix that uses a Mozilla Firefox add-ons. If you are using any other browser, this solution may not help. However, it is worth considering because add-ons are also available in other browsers.
Using Google Chrome? Read the Google Chrome version of this fix. Using Microsoft Edge? Read the Microsoft Edge version of this fix.
The problem: You are unable to view the Forums. This is probably caused by JavaScript, which makes the Forums invisible. The page only loads the background image.
The fix: Step 1: Go to the Add-ons section of your browser. Type the following address in the address bar of your Firefox browser: about:addons
Step 2: In the search bar, search for: "Stylebot".
Step 3: Select "Stylebot" by Ankit Ahuja from the search results.
Step 4: Add Stylebot to Firefox. After going through the process of adding Stylebot to your browser, the Stylebot icon will appear in the top right of your browser.
Disclaimer Adding add-ons to your browser is at your own risk. I am not liable for any damage to the software, your hardware, or loss and risk of (personal) data as a consequence of adding add-ons to your browser. Step 5: Right click the icon (see top right of your browser window) and from the dropdown menu, hover over or click on "Stylebot" and select "Options.." from the menu that appears. A new tab will open.
Step 6: In this new tab, select "Styles" from the menu.
Step 7: Click on "Add a new style...".
Step 8: Enter the Forums URL into the field that states: "Enter URL...". (This field may be a little bit obscured by another element).
https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/
Step 9: In the blank field below, add the following lines of code.
Step 10: Click the "Save" button in the bottom right of the window.
Step 11: Return to the ESO Forums page, and you should be able to see the Forums again.
If this guide/fix solved the problem for you, let me know in the comments below.

The problem: You are unable to view the Forums. This is probably caused by JavaScript, which makes the Forums invisible. The page only loads the background image.
The fix:
Step 1: Go to the Chrome Web Store in your browser: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions Step 2: Search for "Stylish" by https://userstyles.org (see image below) Step 3: Add this extension to your browser. Disclaimer Adding extensions to your browser is at your own risk. I am not liable for any damage to the software, your hardware, or loss and risk of (personal) data as a consequence of adding extensions to your browser.
Step 4: In the top right corner of your browser, click on the extensions icon (see image below for example)
Step 5: Click on the Stylish icon (the extenstion should pop-up)
Step 6: Click on the three vertical dots, and select: create new style.
Step 7: A new tab should open, and you are presented with a section of empty code (see image below). In this field, add the following code.
Step 8: After the text "Applicable to", select "URLs starting with" from the drop-down menu.
Step 9: Enter "https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/" into the input field behind it.
Step 10: Name the style in the top left.
Step 11: Save the style.
Step 12: Return to the ESO Forums page, and you should be able to see the Forums again.
If this guide/fix solved the problem for you, let me know in the comments below. Are you looking for an MMO to play in 2020? Do you like The Elder Scrolls franchise? Look no further because the The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) is having big issues. You would think that ESO is a great game, and don't get me wrong: it has some good content, but that is until you start noticing its flaws. Especially when you are into ESO for the Player vs Player (PvP) content, you will notice the performance- and server-related issues that are embedded in the core of the game. In this blog post, you will find a list of problems in ESO.
Recently, the Greymoor and Update 26 launced on PC. With this update, the Malacath's Band of Brutality was added to the game. This set gives a 1-piece item bonus of increasing your damage by 25% but you cannot critically strike. Is this set worth it? To test if it is worth it, we use a theoretical approach, rather than play testing the set. This means we will use simple mathematics to calculate the damage. We will assume no other bonusses to damage are applied and no reductions to damages apply - such as penetration and resistance levels. We also ignore the fact that this one set piece may sactifice item bonuses from other sets that increase damage - such as maximum resource pools and spell/weapon damage stats. Let us assume our normal damage (Ndamage) = 2,000. This will mean that our critical damage (Cdamage) = 3,000. Cdamage = Ndamage * 1.5, such that Cdamage = 2,000 * 1.5 = 3,000. With Malacath's Band of Brutality (MBB) our damage will be lower because we cannot critical damage the enemy. This will reduce our damage to 2,500. MBBdamage = Ndamage * 1.25 = 2,000 * 1.25 = 2,500, such that MBBdamage = 2,000 * 1.25 = 2,500. Does this mean that Malacath's Band of Brutality is always worse? With this data, one would conclude that it always will be worse. However, if we take critical strike chance into account, this conclusion may change. Until now, we considered only one hit (N = 1). Now let us consider 100 hits (N = 100) and a critical strike chance of 50%. Meaning that every hit has the probability of critically striking of 0.5. If we approach N = ∞ (infinity), about 50% of ∞ (infinity) will critically strike. Therefore, we assume that of the 100 hits, 50% will critically strike. In real situations, this may be lower or higher. This means that with N = 100, 50 will critically strike. We will call these critical strikes Ncrit and the critical strike chance Cchance. This means that our total damage (Tdamage) will be 250,000. Tdamage = Ndamage * (N - Ncrit) + Cdamage * Ncrit = 2,000 * (100 - 50) + 2,500 * 50 = 250,000 with Ncrit = N * (1 - Cchance) = 100 * (1 - 50%) = 50 When we use Malacath's Band of Brutality and deal 25% more normal damage but cannot critically strike with 100 hits (N = 100), we get the same amount of damage: 250,000. Tdamage = MBBdamage * N = 2,500 * 100 = 250,000 This means that when our critical strike chance is 50%, the total damage is equal to the total damage when we wear Malacath's Band of Brutality and get 25% more normal damage but cannot critically strike. When we further evaluate both situations, we find that when our critical strike chance is greater than 50% our total damage is greater than the total damage wearing Malacath's Band of Brutality. However, when our critical strike chance is smaller than 50%, Malacath's Band of Brutality will outperform in terms of damage. When critical strike chance < 50%, Malacath's Band of Brutality outperforms relying on critical damage. When critical strike chance = 50%, the damage is equal. When critical strike chance > 50%, relying on critical damage outperforms wearing Malacath's Band of Brutality. These hypotheses, however, will need field testing to find evidence for them or reject them. Therefore, these statistics only give an estimated indication of the behaviour of the total damage but not an exact indication. Verdict: Malacath's Band of Brutality is only worth it when your critical strike chance is lower than 50%. Wearing Malacath's Band of Brutality when your critical strike chance is higher than 50% will result in lower performance than if we simply rely on critical striking the target.
How to capture a keep? How to capture a fort? How to capture a castle? Each alliance in The Elder Scrolls Online (eso) has their homekeeps to hold and enemy keeps to take. No matter if you call them keeps, forts or castles, this is what pvp is mostly focussed around. So how do you capture a keep? What is the best method of taking a keep? What should I keep in mind when I try to siege a keep? In this blogpost I will try to answer those questions as best as I can.
Nothing is more satisfying than turning your enemies into piles of ash or shatter them into small frozen pieces. The destruction staff comes in three variants: lighting, frost and fire. Even though they are often used in PVP in combination with a restoration staff, two destruction staffs can create a powerful harmony. However it may still be hard to understand why certain staff combinations create such harmony in DPS. Which destruction staff should you use? How do they form synergy? What weapon skills should I use?
Either by massive bleeding, blunt force or sliced into pieces. The two-handed weapons offer strong and reliable burst damage. But what makes the two-handed weapon excel? Is it better to run an axe, mace or sword? How to get maximum potential out of these weapons? And what morphs should I go for? Critical rush or stampede? Dizzying swing or wrecking blow?
With the Morrowind Patch of June this year, a lot of new content will be added. From Battlegrounds to 30+ hours of PVE content. Most noticable is the (re)introduction of the Warden class. The Warden class was a class available in the Bèta of The Elder Scrolls Online. Back then the class was mostly focussed on healing. The Templar however rendered this class oblivious and the class was removed from the game. However the Warden class is making a return into Tamriel. The class has been reworked and can be played in three different ways. The Animal Companion skills are based on fauna. Summoning multiple beasts to compete against enemies. The healer aspect of the Warden is called Green Balance. These skills are nature based and include mostly ranged heals. The last way to play the Warden is a bit different and is called Winter's Embrace. It's focus is clearly put on Frost abilities. It would be correct to state the cryomancer will finaly make an entry into the game. And is mostly about tanking and protecting allies. We have put all the ultimate, active abilites and passive abilities of the Warden class in an overview for you. So you don't have to scroll through many pictures made by MissBizz on our Warden class dedicated page, which you can find here.

ZeniMax Online Studios is working on this huge project called: The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO). And many aspects of the game have changed since the first launch in 2014. The Champion Points system is in place and much new content has been added ever since. With that, the game is becoming more and more complex for both the players and developer. In this blogpost we discuss the current meta in this special arena: the Player versus Player (PvP) arena.
Today, the Shadows of the Hist DLC patch is live. Patch 11 it is also called and it comes with pleasant changes and fixes to the base game. Especially the races of the game see small changes and major bugs have been fixed with this patch.
Update 11 features four new dungeons and changes/fixes to already existing dungeons. Allowing for PVE players to explore new grounds and fight new bosses. Also in the Crown store players will be able to change their appearance and/or race through the use of Tokens. The update also comes with Tokens to change your name and Premium Hairstyles, Adornments, & Markings. ESO Plus members will also be able to use custom dies. The base game patch includes:
To see what changes to your Race and Class please check out our Update 11 dedicated page: Please not that this fix is old and may not work for you at all, but it may be worth a shot. Sometimes during the download/installation of The Elder Scrolls Online files to your computer, the launcher shows the window below. Often this error occurs with the first installation of the game. Repairing seems not to be working and a total reinstal of the game does often not result into success. This guide will show you which steps you should take to fix the Error 210. Error 210 - PatchManifestError_DownloadFail "Unable to download patch manifest. This could be from a recent update. If this problem persists for more than an hour, please run the Game Consultant Tool (located under Launcher Settings -> About) and contact customer support." BEFORE TAKING A NEXT STEP ALWAYS CLOSE THE LAUNCHER Step 1: Run as adminThe first step is to run the Launcher as Administrator. - Right click the ESO Launcher icon on your desktop. - Click "Properties" - Go to the tab "Compatibility" - Tick the box next to "Run this program as Administrator" - Close the window - Restart the Launcher If this didn't work for you, go to step 2 Step 2: Firewall exceptionThe second step is to make sure the Launcher has been added to the exceptions of your Firewall. Often the Firewall is managed through the Virusprotection you use. For example Norton or Kaspersky. How to add an exception to the Windows Firewall, click the link below: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=how+to+add+exceptions+to+windows+firewall - Follow the steps of adding an exception to the Windows Firewall - Restart the Launcher If this didn't work for you, go to step 3 Step 3: depot.VersionThe third step is the most important one. If you have tried anything you found on the Internet and Zenimax Online Forums, this will probably solve the issue. - Locate the game folder (by default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online EU) - In this folder you should have a folder named: "depot", open this folder - Inside the depot folder you will find a few folders "_databuild" and "Video" and a few files as shown in the image below. - Make a copy of the file named: "depot.version" - Copy this file to a save location (e.g. your desktop) - Now navigate back to the depot window and delete "depot.version" - Now restart your Launcher and the game should automatically start repairing or continue with downloading or installing the game. - If it does not start automatically, try manually initiating repair by navigating inside the Launcher to "Game Options" -> "Repair" or "Check For Updates" Note: If the error occurs again, close the Launcher and restart it. Please let us know if this solved the Error 210 - PatchManifestError_DownloadFail by leaving a comment below. Also if this didn't work for you, please also let us know, so we can search for another solution.

In the advanced tutorials you will be tought about dungeons, trials, pvp action and quick leveling.
In the first part: Advanced Tutorial 1: Leveling, you will be taught about how to power level and how to level skill trees efficiently. Powerleveling is the act of increasing one's character level in extremely high speed in the least amount of time possible. In Elder Scrolls Online, powerleveling also is possible. In this tutorial you will learn how to. While you level up, you earn an attribute point and a skill point. Spending all those points into one specific skill tree sounds like a good plan, but quite the opposite it true. You will find yourself wasting experience on a level 50 skill tree and not get the full benefit from questing and leveling. So how to tackle this issue? You can read more about leveling in Advanced Tutorial 1: Leveling Becoming a valuable player in the Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) is not an easy process. It requires loads of time, effort and knowledge to succeed. In this post, a few tips and tricks on how to become successful in ESO. In this part we will discuss playing your role.
